SMWF festival co-director and programmer Briony Kidd is in Launceston this weekend to teach a screenwriting workshop. She’s taking the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in the north to answer any queries they might have about this year’s challenges, the Short Script Challenge and the 48-Hour Tasploitation Challenge.
Come along! Have a glass of wine, have a chat and ask questions. Stranger With My Face is keen to get more northern entries this year!
Briony will be screening a couple of the funnest films from last year’s Tasploitation Challenge (like Malum: Evil Incarnate, pictured below).
5.30 pm, Saturday 7 June
Cowork Launceston, 81 Cimitere Street
For queries email the festival.
