Filmmaker Ashley Fester was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where she started her education as an English major at Concordia University College. The following year she moved to Montreal where she entered Film Studies at Concordia University. Post education Ashley took up residence in Vancouver, Hollywood North, where she acquired the skill-set to coordinate multi-million dollar indie and studio Feature Films, Television Series and Reality TV. Ashley has written, directed and produced a collection of short films as well as the acclaimed feature-length documentary, Celluloid Horror about horror critic/enthusiast and film festival founder Kier-La Janisse.
